One of several experienced and proven new recruits being brought to the Admiral Liv AWOL Under-23 line up for 2017/18 is 20 year old Sarah Lomas.
Although having suffered injury, and having a knee operation in the summer, she has already been in plenty of action for Admiral Liv AWOL on the cyclo-cross circuit. Like several of Under-23 riders, she is not just included in the team for her racing talents, but also to help pass her experience and knowledge on to the Junior and Youth Development riders.
For two years running as an Under 16, Sarah ranked number 1 in the country in the Cyclo-cross discipline, and has a consistently high ranking in mountain bike XC as well over the last 5 years.
Sarah will be an enviable inclusion within the team ranks throughout the Cyclo-cross season with her leadership and experience being distributed to both the team and youth development riders.
On being part of Admiral Liv AWOL, Sarah said, “I am really looking forward to helping the younger riders with the cross racing and very excited to have the opportunity to learn more about the road and road racing from experienced riders!”
Sarah’s previous clubs include: Nutcracker Altura Racing, Matlock CC
She will be riding on Road, Cyclo-cross and Mountain Bike for Admiral Liv AWOL.
