Poppy Wildman

After guesting for Admiral Liv AWOL on a few European excursions and OVO Tour Series rounds over the last 18 months, it finally gives us great pleasure to announce that the talented Poppy Wildman will be officially riding on road for the team in 2019.

Poppy has been enjoying racing her bike for seven years now, having started out with cyclo-cross. However, during her time as a youth rider she has also raced mountain bike, road and track as well.

Across those disciplines, she has had 14 national wins as a youth and, including junior racing she has finished on the podium in seven national champs, including winning the British Cycling National Cyclo-Cross Championships – Youth Girls Under 14.

Poppy struggled with illness in her last year as an under-16 which made the jump to Junior racing quite challenging, but as she says “I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity by the Admiral Liv AWOL team to gain experience racing some junior nations’ cups and women’s national series rounds in 2018, and I’m really looking forward to continuing to race these kinds of races again with the team next year!”

Poppy’s previous teams/clubs include: SF Racing, Nottingham Clarion CC

She will be riding on road for Admiral Liv-AWOL.
